Born in Oklahoma City, Gerald McCoy played football at Southeast High School. After graduating, he then played college football at the University of Oklahoma, where he earned All-American honors and was drafted third overall by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2010. Gerald recently attended the Wes Welker Foundation's Cleats & Cocktails event, where the Foundation awarded it's one-millionth dollar to Southeast High School, where they had initially distributed their first grant in 2006. Thank you Gerald for your support and your commitment to the youth in Oklahoma City!
